Production Process Steps of Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers:


1. Plate Stamping:
    Metal plates (typically stainless steel, titanium, copper, etc.) are processed using stamping equipment to form heat transfer plates with specific corrugated shapes.


2. Gasket Assembly (for Gasketed Type):
For gasketed plate heat exchangers, rubber gaskets are installed between plates to seal fluid passages and direct alternating fluid flow.


3. Plate Assembly:
Stamped plates are stacked in a specific sequence to form a bundle, creating alternating cold and hot fluid channels.


4. Welding/Sealing:

  • Fully Welded Type: Adjacent plates are firmly joined via vacuum welding or other welding methods.
  • Brazed Type: Plates are connected using brazing materials.
  • Gasketed Type: Plates are assembled into a bundle using clamping bolts, a fixed plate, and a movable compression plate, with gaskets providing sealing.
